Henry Schniewind

Keynote Speaker: ‘Risk Management from an exciting Avalanche Point of View’

Known as ‘Mr. Avalanche’, Henry is a leading speaker and provider of avalanche safety information and training. He provides entertaining insight for people and teams in varied professions - through corporate speaking and seminars: on risk management and solutions to reduce avoidable errors (that even the best make) that lead to accidents.

Henry is also a certified ‘off-piste’ ski guide who has combined adventure with degrees in geology and French literature from Boston University and Montana State University; as well as a Master in International Business from Grenoble (France) Graduate School of Business.

Henry’s Training using an ‘accident reduction framework’, memory aids and website henrysavalanchetalk.com have been credited with saving lives in high consequence, low validity (low feedback) risk contexts like avalanche terrain.

As a former F-16 pilot and United Airlines pilot, I strongly believe in Henry’s framework / checklist system for all off-piste skiers & tourers. His type of disciplined approach has saved numerous lives in the world of aviation, healthcare and other professions that include potential high risk contexts.

Anthony "AB" Bourke, Keynote Speaker | Expert on Leadership, Communication & Teamwork | CEO & Founder Mach 2 Consulting & Mach 2 Airshows
